Mr Alexandre Favre is Lecturer Practical Arts at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Alexandre joined the Compagnons du Devoir in order to complete his apprenticeship and continued his training by earning an additional mention in the field of chocolate making. Alexandre then decided to continue his training with a Brevet Technique des Metiers in order to perfect his knowledge in the field of management, technology and practice.
In 2014, he joined Christophe Michalak's team (world pastry champion) at the Plaza Athénée in Paris, where he worked for three years. Alexandre followed Christophe Michalak in the opening of his boutiques in 2017 and led Masterclasses there for three years.
In 2020, Alexandre joined EHL as a Lecturer in Practical Arts. Passionate and patient, he wishes to communicate and pass on his knowledge of the pastry making profession in order to perfect the workshops at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne.
