EHL encourages you to take good care of your mental and physical wellbeing, so that you can do your best in the classroom, in the workplace, and in any endeavor you choose. We also offer a range of academic services to support your growth as a scholar.
For the treatment of injuries and illness, to mental health needs, EHL has an extensive team of qualified professionals who offer services and guidance on campus or by telephone.
Since 2019, EHL’s Women in Leadership group and the Student Affairs department has been spearheading a Sexual Harassment Prevention (SHP) Initiative in partnership with the Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVPF). The initiative aims to educate members of the EHL community to prevent and recognize forms of sexual harassment using a three-tiered intervention method that includes workshops. These workshops have become mandatory as of the 2021-2022 academic year.
Thanks to our large campuses and advanced infrastructures, EHL has been able to go above and beyond the health and safety measures that are required by the Swiss Government to manage the spread of COVID-19.
At EHL, learning doesn’t just take place in the classroom, the process continues throughout the campus and on several platforms, and students have access to diverse resources.
A team of recent EHL graduates are employed by the school full-time to provide academic support to professors and students. This team and professors offering tutoring sessions are available to answer questions and help students with complicated topics and assignments.
Visiting lecturers and mentors, such as EHL Alumni, executives from major hotels, and start-up owners, play a significant role in the learning process by contributing their personal experience and insights through campus lectures and one-on-one mentoring activities.
Over the past year at EHL, we have adopted a Hyflex distance learning model for our current students:
Offered as a free resource to help students develop their writing skills, the writing center provides individual feedback and support, coaching sessions and workshops, guidance for professional-quality documents.

“EHL prepares you for real life like no other educational institution...it emphasizes the crucial balance of studying and building meaningful human interactions, which is why we focus so much on benevolence, authenticity, family, respect, etc. Being able to embody these qualities is a skill set for life.
EHL is a place to truly grow as a person, not just study and leave. I know I wouldn’t have gotten this experience if I had studied anywhere else.”
