Biography
Mrs Françoise Thomas studied Spanish at the Université Paris X Nanterre, and Teaching French as a Foreign Language at the Université de Dijon, in France. In 1996, she passed the CAPES (Certificat d’Aptitude au Professorat de l’Enseignement du Second degré) and subsequently taught in Paris for the Education Nationale, the French Ministry in charge of education, Universities and public research. Françoise joined EHL in 2003 and, on top of her teaching duties, now she coordinates the Writing Centre, a service which helps students to improve their writing skills in French, English and German.
She nurtures a special interest in business and vocational French for the hospitality industry, and therefore she also acts as an official examiner for the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris Île de France. Françoise speaks French, English and Spanish, and is currently studying Italian.
