Short Bio
Fernanda Nussbaum has been teaching Spanish at EHL since 2020.
With a degree in Spanish Literature from the University of Buenos Aires, she obtained her PhD at the University of Geneva, where she focused her research on medieval political theory, drawing on legal and historiographical texts of the period.
Her academic career includes extensive experience in university teaching, having taught Spanish courses at various levels (A1 to C1) as part of the University of Geneva's Continuing Education program. For more than a decade, she has focused her pedagogical efforts on teaching Spanish in professional contexts, especially in the fields of hospitality and business. She has taught at the Glion Institute of Higher Education and at institutions affiliated to the Swiss Education Group.
Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Fernanda Nussbaum is an active researcher in the field of medieval historiography. She is the author of a book and numerous articles, and has presented her research at distinguished academic centres such as the Sorbonne University, the Universities of Arras, Bonn, Valladolid, León and Fribourg, among others. She has also participated in the Medieval Week of Estella (Spain) and has contributed to publications of the Royal Academy of History (Spain).
In addition, She has participated in the elaboration of didactic materials for secondary education in Buenos Aires, where she published a book on Don Quixote and authored several textbook chapters.
