Biography

After studying French, philosophy and law, Alice Mcilveen worked for several years as a solicitor in England. Having moved to Switzerland at the end of 2012, she decided to retrain as an English teacher, her mother tongue, by taking a specialised course for adults.


Driven by a genuine passion for teaching, she has since taught a wide range of students, from young children to teenagers and business professionals. She has worked in several institutions and has also been working as a freelance teacher since 2017.


A mother of two, she spends her free time running, swimming, doing yoga and reading.
