Biographie

Dr. Philippe Masset hat an der Universität Fribourg promoviert (2012). Seine Forschungsgebiete sind empirische Finanzwissenschaft, alternative Investitionen, Weinwirtschaft, Finanzmanagement im Gastgewerbe und Hotelimmobilieninvestitionen. Er war Gastprofessor an der Universität Bordeaux und ist Mitglied mehrerer akademischer Vereinigungen, darunter der American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE), Bordeaux Wine Economics (BWE), und Vorstandsmitglied der European Association of Wine Economists (EuAWE).


Er ist ein Gründungsmitglied der Alliance for Research on Wine and Hospitality Management (ARWHM). Er hat mehrere Artikel in internationalen Fachzeitschriften wie Emerging Market Review, European Financial Management, Journal of Alternative Investments und im Handbook of Financial Econometrics and Statistics veröffentlicht und erhielt eine umfangreiche Berichterstattung in den Medien (z. B. Bloomberg, Reuters, Radio Télévision Suisse, Bilan, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, China Daily, La Repubblica).


Er hat an mehreren akademischen Einrichtungen Kurse im Finanzbereich (Finanzmanagement, Unternehmensfinanzierung, Investitionen, Immobilienfinanzierung, Risikomanagement, Weinwirtschaft und Finanzen) gehalten. Er ist auch Mitglied des Investitionsausschusses von Hotela, Präsident des Stiftungsrates der Pensionskasse Prévotel und Mitglied des RCSO Economie & Management (HES-SO).
