During the Foundation Program: Certificate in English Essentials students will acquire the language and study skills needed in order to succeed in their academic studies. The course consists of general English lessons at a B2 level focused on the four main skills: reading,writing, listening, and speaking.

Students will be able to:

Speak in a clear and organized manner when interacting with others or presenting to an audience.
Participate confidently in discussions across social and academic contexts.
Follow key themes and arguments in structured lectures on familiar topics.
Read complex texts with independence using the right strategies for each objective.
Write clear, detailed texts and essays using a broad range of vocabulary and grammar.

Tuition Fees: CHF 13,600 (incl. GST; invoiced in Singapore Dollars at exchange rate)

Guardianship (for under 18): approx. CHF 1,000

Admissions Criteria

A Secondary Education Diploma
English language certificate: IELTS academic module, with a minimum score of 5.5, TOEFL with a minimum score of 63 (iBT), Cambridge C1 Advanced (min. Grade B2) or Duolingo score of 95.
18 years old minimum at the start of the course (17 years old can be accepted on a case-by-case basis)
