Short Bio

Mr Alexandre Centeleghe is a wine trade professional and an alumni from EHL. He holds the Wine & Spirits Education Trust Diploma 4, highest level of the trust's certification and the prerequisite to apply for the London's Institute of Masters of Wines programme. Graduated from EHL in beginning of 2011, he moved to Shanghaï, China the same year to become a wine sales supervisor for a premium wine importer.

After several working experiences as head of wine and director of a VIP club for Chinese government, wine PR manager and educator, Alexandre became vice-president for events and tastings for critically-acclaimed American wine critic James Suckling (former editor at the Wine Spectator). During 3 years, he accompanied Mr Suckling throughout the globe, built a strong network with leading winemakers and tasted on average 3'000 wines a year.

Back to Switzerland in 2016, Alexandre focused his projects on wine promotion, journalism and education. He is lecturer in oenology at EHL, visiting lecturer at Changins Oenology School and also teaches WSET level 1,2 and 3 in Switzerland. He also works in parallel for wine promotional platforms such as Vinilink SA and writes articles about wines in magazines such as fine-bouche.fr and Paris Match Suisse.
