Two pathways to a bachelor’s degree in hospitality
The Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management offers a balanced curriculum that combines industry immersion with management theory and applied business projects, for well-rounded professionals and leaders.
The degree offers two pathways, academic and professional, offering you a choice of two different learning experiences and more or less internships. Both pathways include real-world business consultancy projects in the final semester on the Lausanne campus and deliver the same recognized hospitality business degree.

Academic Pathway
After a preparatory year and a complete overview of hospitality operations, this pathway will allow you to focus intensely on hospitality management theory and application.
Location: This pathway begins in Lausanne for the preparatory year. Students can choose to spend the next three years of the degree in Singapore or in Lausanne. There is also the option for semester exchanges with the other campuses for select students.
If you learn best in a dynamic university environment with group assignments inside and outside of the classroom, then this pathway is ideal for you.
Professional Pathway
This pathway offers a deeper immersion and broader overview of all the functions of the hospitality industry and more internship experience.
Location: This pathway begins in the cosy, hotel-resort setting of the Passugg campus, and it finishes with a final semester on the Lausanne campus.
You can choose between the English and German sections for the first part of the program in Passugg. The final semester in Lausanne is taught in English
If you are passionate about culinary arts, communication and hotel management and you wish to gain extensive work experience before graduation, then this pathway is the right one for you.
