Professional Forums
Professional Forums are held once a year as a platform for exchange among hospitality professionals, financial partners and experts in various fields. They were created by EHL following the interest expressed by Swiss hoteliers. The Forums focus on current issues in the industry and are a way of obtaining up-to-date, specialized information and personalized advice, as well as an opportunity for sharing ideas and experiences.
Last year's Forums focused firstly on the subject of technology and IT applications for hospitality enterprises, and secondly on hospitality financing. In each case, following presentations by EHL faculty, a series of practical workshops were held. The IT and technology Forum addressed practical aspects as the various options available, their advantages and disadvantages and their cost.The presentations and workshops concerning hospitality financing centred on practical aspects including how best to present a request for credit or for private equity financing.
