Global Spa Summit
The growth of the Spa and Wellness industry has been well documented over the past 18 months. At the recent Global Spa Summit held at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City from 18-20 May, four EHL students had the opportunity to learn first-hand just how important this segment of the industry has become and how it will continue to grow.
Jennifer Simonian, Vanessa Stoessel, Michael Schreiner and Viktoria Borek travelled to the event to participate and contribute to the discussions revolving around the current state of the Spa and Wellness industry and its future developments.
Vanessa, a student in her final semester of the Bachelor programme, was a panel member in one of the breakout sessions focusing on solutions to attract young talent to this segment of the industry. Next year's Global Spa Summit will be held at the Victoria-Jungfrau in Interlaken from 17-19 May. EHL will be the official academic supporter for the Summit.
