Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management
US accreditation
EHL’s Diploma is recognized by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) as a degree at Associate level.
Possibilities of transfer
In the United States, the Diploma or Associate Degree is awarded after two years of full time study at an accredited university, and is usually accepted for transfer in lieu of the first two years leading to the Bachelor’s degree. Holders of an Associate Degree may therefore apply for transfer into the third year of a 4-year Bachelor Degree course in schools which follow a US or international educational system.
The Diploma benefits from EHL’s status as a recognized and accreditated degree-granting institution. Transfer to EHL’s Bachelor programme on completion of the Diploma programme is possible in some circumstances, depending on results and initial qualifications. Reverse transfer of Bachelor students into the Diploma programme is also possible in some cases.
Credits
The Diploma programme is developed in modules calculated along the lines of US and ECTS credits. This is a useful tool for recognition and validation by other schools or by employers of the competencies acquired during the programme.
