What does accreditation involve?

Accredition is the recognition by a government, or by a specialized accrediting agency, that a school or university effectively implements the objectives set out in its mission and that it meets high standards of quality.

In Switzerland

To be recognized by the Swiss government as part of the University of Applied Sciences of Westerrn Switzerland (HES-SO), EHL has developed the extensive services and activities required of all members of the University, and conforms to strict quality criteria in selecting candidates and developing its programmes.

Internationally

International accreditation by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) involves a 3-step procedure: self-evaluation, external evaluation, decision on accreditation.
