Our programmes

EHL’s balance of arts and science is unique. It’s an approach unlike that of any other top business school, because ours is the hospitality business. A hospitality leader has to be gifted in the performing arts (imagining, convincing, creating, orchestrating, stage-managing) as well as in sciences (bench-marking, process mapping, cash flow, balance sheets, predicting and evaluating financial impacts…)

Preparing you for the industry

This is what our alumni said, in a recent survey, about the mix of art and science in the hospitality industry:

• Art is imagination, entertainment, design, fashion, hospitality at its most creative: the cross-sectoral industry of today. It is the new brands, the fun destinations, the unusual boutique hotels, the niches and the special places that are sprouting up everywhere, since the market for hospitality is global.
• Science on the other hand is the nuts and bolts of delivery which connect the dreams with the bottom line. This is technology, machinery, bricks and mortar, equipment, supplies and money.
