Air All the major car rental companies are situated in the airport arrival hall.
All major international airlines take off and land at Zurich Kloten International Airport, which is also served by an on-site station. This puts Zurich barely 2 hours 40 minutes away from Lausanne by train or 2 hours 15 minutes by car. |

Rail The TGV Lyria arrives in Lausanne from Paris, the TGV Sud-Est arrives in Geneva from Montpellier or Marseilles (Geneva–Lausanne > 34 minutes). The Pau Casals takes you from Barcelona to Lausanne ICE trains link Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt to Basel (Basel-Lausanne > 2 hours 9 minutes). The Pendolino links Lausanne with Milan or Rome. |

Car To drive on motorways in Switzerland you need to have a sticker which is available for CHF40 at post offices, service stations and border controls.
