You are full of ideas, you spot trends before they happen, you respond to people's needs before they even know what they need...

 
 

A love of savoir-vivre
Do you enjoy life in all its more intangible and sensory aspects? For you, a hotel is not just a place to sleep. It is ambiance, fine cuisine and wine, the discreet attention of the sommelier, tradition and creativity, design and lighting, architecture and use of space: an appeal to all five senses that will be an extraordinary memory.

 
 

Analytical and problem-solving skills
Hospitality means being able to deal with many different kinds of knowledge in order to make informed decisions. Can you swiftly sift through all kinds of different factors to determine what is essential?

 
 

Strong organizational abilities
You love to plan, to organize, to look ahead, to check, to back-up for contingencies, to deal with emergencies, to make sure things work: the nuts and bolts of any event.

 
 

A strong customer focus
You are aware of others, with a sixth sense for their needs - when to intervene, and also when not to intrude. You are sensitive to different cultural expectations. You have the will to develop a true service culture.

 
 

People skills and persuasiveness
It's not enough to have good ideas and the business skills to implement them. Hospitality is a people business: you need to be able to convince others and bring them on board.

Can you think on your feet and make confident, quick decisions? Can you find creative ways to get around a problem? Can you take the initiative?
 

An international outlook

Are you eager to meet people from many different backgrounds? Are you fascinated by other cultures and curious to find out more? Are you respectful of other ways of thinking and willing to change your own?

Hospitality is a world in which no new day is like the one before. It's a world of constant happenings, changes and challenges. You need to have plenty of energy, and to enjoy the challenges. Do you like hard work, or is it a burden? Do crises work on you as a call for action or do you feel quickly overwhelmed? Our students thrive on the unexpected.
