EHL is different from other universities and the EHL campus is different from other campuses. It is an integrated learning space that provides the best possible learning conditions for the many different aspects of hospitality management. EHL is both a school, fully equipped to provide the best possible learning experience for its students - and a hotel, complete with restaurants, accommodation, conference and banqueting facilities, and a reception, to provide an extraordinary hospitality experience for students, employees and visitors. The campus is a technologically rich learning space which provides optimal conditions for management studies. It is fully wireless: students all have their own individual laptops, installations are cutting-edge and an IT help-desk is available for on-going support. The School’s unique CyberHotel enables faculty and students to investigate the latest professional software applications. It is also a purpose-built hotel complex which provides on-site access to professional hospitality experience throughout your studies. |
It offers specialized learning facilities including a fully equipped wine laboratory and an extensive professional library. It also has a range of restaurant concepts which provide a real-world context for your studies and at the same time allows to discover and enjoy different culinary experiences every day.
The School is self-contained, yet open to the world: at any one time, a quarter of the students are off-campus on internship, and the constant flow of ideas and experience they bring back from the outside makes for a lively, vigorous learning community.
The campus is surrounded by forests, lakes and mountain trails, yet it is only a few minutes away from the lively university town of Lausanne and an hour away from the international city of Geneva. The School has excellent sports and leisure facilities with many other possibilities nearby for sports and recreation.
