Programme enrichment

In house, LHR actively supports the Learning Department by helping both students and faculty, contributing to keeping the curriculum updated and relevant, and working to develop a true spirit of scientific enquiry.

Teacher-researchers in the classroom

LHR uses teacher-researchers in the classroom for lively interaction with current research. This is of the most important ways of turning research into useful knowledge that can be assimilated by the industry. EHL researchers who are also professors in the classroom have a forward-looking vision and expert knowledge that informs all their courses and shapes not only the competencies but also the attitudes of their students.

Involving faculty and students in research projects

LHR involves faculty and students in research projects and trains students in research methods.

One major innovative project designed to integrate learning and research is the creation of a Centre of Hospitality Innovation and Trends for students. The Centre of Hospitality Innovation and Trends will initially be used by students as part of their Advanced Operational Technics course in the final year of the bachelor degree programme.

The trends observatory aims to collect data, identify the most recent tendencies and to filter and classify the data as a basis for building scenarios for innovative projects.

The Centre of Hospitality Innovation and Trends also serves as a resource for researchers and hospitality professionals.
