The aim of Lausanne Hospitality Research is to provide timely research as a basis for driving innovation both within the school itself and in the industry. Through its applied research projects and activities, it is actively committed to the development of the hospitality and services sector, both in Switzerland and internationally.
Specifically, LHR aims to:
- Synergize information that is often widely dispersed and not readily available
- Monitor and interpret trends and disseminate information
- Create new knowledge for innovation and development
- Facilitate access to new knowledge through improved targeting and communication
- Provide useful tools and support services to the industry
Industry participation in research projectsAll LHR research is carried out in close collaboration with the industry, which provides essential data and a laboratory for investigation. The industry is also an active participant in many research projects. |
