Input: your contribution
The hospitality industry is EHL's primary stakeholder and is involved in every aspect of the school's mission and activities.
Our aim at EHL is to involve the industry ever more closely in the school's development and in student education and career preparation.
We are proposing a new relationship model: the Company Culture Scheme.
Many different levels of industry participation
EHL is not just a business school, but an intensive, dedicated preparation for the unique aspects of the hospitality industry. Students are in close contact with all the aspects of hospitality from the very first day of their studies.
Industry is present at every level, from the International Advisory Board through participation in formal and informal events, to Career Centre activities and participation in the selection of new students:
- The International Advisory Board (IAB) gives strategic direction to the school. It helps to shape EHL and update its programmes of study in response to evolving industry needs. But its role is not simply advisory. Increasingly, the IAB is playing a more active role. Recently, for example, it acted as a mock "recruitment forum" for MHA students, allowing them to test their presentation and interview skills in the presence of senior industry leaders. Learn more about our IAB members.
- On-going industry presence on campus: Alumni and other industry representatives are constantly present on campus and provide meaningful industry contact for students throughout their studies. They participate in a wide range of events, both formal and informal: speaking engagements, contribution to academic courses and career workshop activities, and help in the selection of incoming students.
