JOB FAIR – This October 18, the campus of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne will once again welcome a record number of companies to its bi-annual Job Fair. Our goal is simple: contribute to your success by making sure that the right students are able to meet with the right companies.

The 6th edition of the EHL Job Fair, held bi-annually as part of the Information and Recruitment Days, welcomed a total of 39 companies, 56% from the hotel field and 44% from other sectors, with companies like L'Oreal and Ernst & Young.

INFORMATION AND RECRUITMENT DAYS at EHL from 31 January to 25 February 2011

Twice a year EHL organises recruitment sessions for its students which are highly regarded by prestigious potential employers.

For this first edition for 2011, EHL has already welcomed the company Servair, The Rezidor Hotel Group and Design Hotels.

Our last edition of the Information and Recruitment Days met with great success: 76 companies came to meet our students.
Our next edition will take place on 31 January to 25 February 2011, including a Job Fair on 15 February.

As the February 2010 session of EHL’s bi-annual Information and Recruitment Days moves to a close, we can measure its success – including that of the one-day Job Fair, held on February 10, where industry presence tripled in the space of a year!

From 1 February to 25 February, representatives from different organizations will be on campus to present their companies and the career possibilities and/or internships that they are offering. Personal interviews are also organized for students.

Kempinski, founded in 1897, is the oldest European hotel chain but prefers to be known as a « Collection of individual hotels » rather than a « chain ».

Andreas Elvers, Director of Human Resources and his colleague, Julia Schneider, introduced the Steigenberger Group and their training modules to EHL students today. This family enterprise was founded in 1930 by Albert Steigenberger and became a limited company in 1985.

Fairmont presented their company to students at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne last night. Amanda Holmes, Eugenio Pirri and Dorothée Cornils, representing the Canadian firm, gave a brief history of Fairmont to the numerous participants.

JP Morgan was present on campus today, taking part in the Information and Recruitment Days. Nicolas de Balthasar (EHL 2001) and Dominik Oggenfuss presented their company to the 72 students attending. Twelve interviews were then held.
