L’EHL a accueilli le jeudi 4 juin une dizaine d’étudiants de l’ESSEC Business School, Paris. Les étudiants suivent le cursus « Institute for Service Innovation & Strategy ». Certains d’entre eux cherchent ensuite à travailler dans monde international du secteur de l’accueil, et notamment dans le tourisme, l’hôtellerie ou encore le domaine du luxe.

EHL students win the « Prix du Jeune Entrepreneur »

Friday, 5 June in Bern, the project made in by four students of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) won the « Prix du Jeune Entrepreneur » awarded to the best entrepreneurial project with a link to France, in any domain. The concept made in integrates virtual social networks with tourism for the first time. The EHL students beat not only teams from the University of St-Gallen, the EPFL or the EPFZ, but also walked away with CHF 20,000.00 for their project.

The INTEHL Institute is assisting this week all SBP (Student Business Project) final presentations carried out by graduating students from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Final year projects at EHL are real-life missions mandated by companies or entrepreneurs wishing to benefit from a group of 5 EHL students’ knowledge in hospitality management and creative skills.

Three students of the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and co-founders of Food For Friends Sàrl are in the final stretch of their hospitality management studies.

They are now in the process of making their concept prosperous in order to make a living from their company and therefore approached the INTEHL Business Incubator for help in developing their company.

Some entrepreneurs are now working with a group of students from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne on their respective projects. Projects this semester include namely creating business plans, validating a concept for a start-up company, and developing a marketing strategy.
