The Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne has just kicked off an ambitious new campus project.

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) and Diversey, part of Sealed Air Corporation today announced the conclusion of a long term collaboration agreement with a global scope. EHL and Diversey intend to develop understanding and educate in sustainable cleaning and hygiene solutions among hospitality industry decision-makers and exchange knowledge and best practices.
The Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit between 10th and 13th of November 2013, by a team representing the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Markus Binkert (41), currently Head of Sales & Marketing Switzerland, Germany & Austria, has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer of SWISS airlines, starting his new duties on 1 May.
The EHL Researcher of the Year prize for 2012 has been awarded to Mr Steffen Raub. Mr Raub succeeds Mrs Hilary Murphy who received the award for her work in 2011. His reward is a six month sabbatical leave which will be devoted to pursuing a research project. Steffen Raub will however continue to give lectures at EHL during this period.
EHL will partner the World Tourism Forum Lucerne, a biennial event to be held from 17th to 19th April 2013.
In March 2013, the Swiss Center of Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education (OAQ) attested that EHL’s Executive MBA in Hospitality Administration met its quality standards.
