Rewards for “Graines d’entrepreneur”
Creative projects were presented to the jury of “Graines d’entrepreneur”, an original summer camp, organized at EHL in collaboration with the City of Lausanne.
This innovative student project was widely applauded by the jury and its participants.”Graines d’entrepreneur” which took place from 19 to 23 July, ended up with the presentation of creative concepts. According to the jury, most of them could be indeed developed as projects for the hotel industry.
9 concepts were released at the end of the week. Pauline, Samuel, Miguel, Ornella, Mégane, Charlotte, Johan, Thomas and Alexis took part in this adventure. From the “Appartarium”, a pool bedroom by Samuel to Pauline’s concept called “Décorez-nous comme chez vous” (Decorate us like your home) which consists in choosing a personalized decoration for your hotel room, the jury had a hard time choosing the winner!
The criteria were originality, innovation, feasibility and creativity. And the winner is… Charlotte and her “Fashion Cash” concept! The jury considered it as a true innovation. It would allow people to buy clothes they need and like directly at their hotel.
EHL’s General Director Mr ROCHAT welcomed those “Graines d’entrepreneur” and pointed up the creativity of those young people aged from 12 to 15, and was envious of the absence of restraints in their innovative research.
The supervision team thanks to whom the project was a special success was composed of Thomas Goval and Jessica Deieso, two EHL students and Sandra Stimoli, from the City of Lausanne. According to Thomas Goval, the secret of this success lied in the capacity of the several individualities to become one united group. And to keep this team spirit, the group has created a “Graines d’entrepreneur” Facebook account to stay in touch.
With such a success, the team’s wish would be fulfilled if a second edition of “Graines d’entrepreneur” happens next year…
