« Graines d’entrepreneur », an innovative Student Project focused on creativity
A new project has come out this year in collaboration with the City of Lausanne, a programme of original activities of a unique style.
Considering that teenagers are at the peak of their creativity but rarely listened to, the INTEHL Institute together with the Lausanne communal service for young people and leisure have entrusted EHL students with the creation of an innovative programme of activities.
From 19 to 23 July 2010, 11 pupils from 12 to 15 years old bring a new way of considering the hospitality industry, which is eager to constantly discover new concepts. Supported by professionals, participants take part in different classes (e.g.: molecular cooking, hotel visits) as well as creativity task groups and “savoir-vivre” classes.
Those young people are offered to live unusual experiences and to discover new kinds of leisure during their summer vacations. This project is also part of a Student Business Project (SBP).
Attendees will suggest their visions for the hospitality industry of the future to the members of INTEHL and a jury composed of hotel industry experts, journalists and representatives of the City of Lausanne. This jury will award a prize to the most original ideas on Friday 23 July in the afternoon at EHL. The projects will be exposed in a campus space named the “City of ideas”.
