EHL students represent their school at the Bangkok Sister City Youth Programme 2010

Mattias Innocenti & Bastien Buffat

Two students from the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne were given the opportunity to represent their school and the City of Lausanne during the Bangkok Sister City Youth Programme 2010 (BSCYP), organized by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).

One of the goals of this programme is to strengthen the links between Bangkok’s sister cities through cultural exchanges among students, and to share ideas and solutions dealing with socio-environmental and urbanistic issues.

During the nine days of the BSCYP, the two students were accompanied by Mr Seraïdaris, Honorary Delegate of the City of Lausanne for Swiss-Thai Relations. Mattias Innocenti and Bastien Buffat had the opportunity to meet the Governor of the city of Bangkok, Mr Sukhumbhand Paribatra and to interact with several officials from the BMA.

Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne has had close relations with Thailand for many years. EHL recently delivered the very first title of Honorary Professor to the Grand Chamberlain of His Majesty King Bhumibol, and former student at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.
