Despite the economic crisis, companies offer employment to EHL students
Between February 2 and 27 no less than thirty companies came to the heights overlooking Lausanne to meet EHL students and future graduates. Companies such as Hyatt, Starwood, Procter & Gamble, Accor and Mandarin Oriental again affirmed their desire to recruit at EHL this year. In addition, a further ten new companies were present due to their interest in the added value our students could bring them.
For this edition of the Recruitment Days the participants were given the possibility to present their companies through stands, to have interviews or tests with potential candidates and to network with students. The goal: for students: that it will lead to an internship or a first job; and for the recruiter: the opportunity to discover motivated young talent for their sector. The recruiters’ comments were very positive as to the quality of the students they met who were well prepared for the interviews.
The presence of Mr Kurt Ritter, President and CEO of Rezidor, at the Recruitment Days should also be noted. Mr Ritter honoured EHL with his presence and took the opportunity to meet students in the Master Programme, conduct several employment interviews and present the current economic challenges. He also provided precious advice on career development to an audience of enthusiastic young students,
The next edition of Recruitment Days is planned for next October.
