Having graduated from EHL almost three years ago (seems like yesterday), and as part of our fantastic Alumni network, I can say with complete conviction and pride, that I would not be where I am today without my EHL experience.
My first internship was in Davos, working for one of the VIP hotels during the World Economic Forum, and my second for HVS Executive Search in the London office. After graduation, I spent an intense year working as an associate for the Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, where I worked on a huge range of projects: feasibility studies, mixed use development financial plans, creating and delivering executive education programs and helping to create curriculum for hotel schools.
Today, I have spent the last two and a half years pursuing my own entrepreneurial venture, a platform for letting and renting long-term accommodation in city centres: http://en.papayapods.com/#!. I think it is through this adventure that I have fully realised the extent to which EHL has helped prepare me. My day-to-day is totally different each time, and I wear all kinds of hats throughout, whether finance and accounting, sales and marketing, strategy or product development. Our start-up has been inspired by the hospitality industry, and this continues to be a center point for me in everything I do, as does my passion for continuous learning. I look forward to sharing my EHL experience with anyone interested in becoming part of our story
