Rubina Insam, MSc in Global Hospitality Business candidate at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, was selected to represent EHL in the 2015 edition of the Hyatt Student Prize. This prize is awarded by Hyatt to the most talented student of the international hospitality industry.
During the awards ceremony, held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Martinez in Cannes (France) on 3rd December 2015, Ms. Insam distinguished herself as the most talented among the eight finalists and as a "Leader of Tomorrow". She received the Hyatt Student Prize trophy from the President of the Jury.
About the Hyatt Student Prize
Hyatt supports the growth and development of the next generation of hoteliers and leaders in the industry, based on the principle that the hotelier profession requires education, training and foremost leadership and passion.
Consequently, in 2008, Michel Jauslin – Area Vice President, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, launched the Hyatt Student Prize, inviting prestigious hotel management schools to present a candidate to be evaluated by a jury of renowned industry representatives, according to specific criteria set by Hyatt.
