Professional and academic experience:
Executive Chef and Senior Lecturer at EHL, Philippe Gobet has worked for the past 16 years with some of the biggest names in gastronomy, including Georges Blanc, Alain Ducasse and Joël Robuchon. He joined the illustrious ranks of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France for cuisine then continued his teaching career at the Ecole Lenôtre. He was named Director of Schools where he led a team of culinary and pastry professors for over 18 years.
He has written a number of books about the art of pastry making and has also participated in a number of culinary TV shows such as “Cuisiner comme un Grand Chef (Cook like a top chef), “Bon Appétit Bien Sûr”, “Dans la Peau d’un Chef” (In the shoes of a chef) and “Master Chef”!
A member of the Académie Française du Chocolat and the Académie Culinaire de France, Philippe Gobet received the Grande Médaille d’Or award from the Cuisiniers de France organization.
