Senior Lecturer - Academic writing/French
After beginning my higher education in the USA where I obtained a BA in Philosophy and Economics, I studied Humanities for two years at the Sorbonne and then tackled quite a different field but where the human component is also essential: hospitality! I obtained a Bachelor in International Hospitality Management from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and went on to work in the Rooms Division Departments of four and five star hotels in Neuchâtel, Dijon and Marne-la-Vallée. I pursued my Master of Philosophy (Ethics major) at the same time at the Université de Bourgogne in France.
I have been back at EHL since 2004 teaching Ethics and Business French. I obtained a teaching certification from the Alliance Française for French as a Foreign Language, and am also part of the jury for the DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera). I speak four languages fluently and my life revolves around my three passions: languages, hospitality and philosophy.
Areas of interest:
