Professional and academic experience:

Stefano Mastrogiacomo is both a practitioner – with 20 years experience in multinational organizations - and a professor and researcher in digital project management and organization. Independent advisor, former head of e-business, he has managed digital portfolios up to 100 projects /+20mio budget from strategy definition to agile/waterfall implementation for companies such as Pictet, Rothschild, Richemont, and Caterpillar. His main area of research is effective team coordination in complex projects (innovative, cross-functional, interdisciplinary and multicultural) and IT project failure. He is the designer of Coopilot, a methodological framework to improve projects’ performance in real-time through better conversation management. He holds a PhD in Organization and Business Information Systems, a Master’s Degree (MBI) and a BA from the Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC) of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
