Having completed an intensive semester at EHL in Lausanne focusing on finance and strategic management, the first student cohort of the Master in Global Hospitality Business now commences classes in strategic decision-making within operations management at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Students will learn about Revenue, Marketing, and Service Quality Management, and contemporary issues in the hospitality and tourism industry in Asia Pacific. In addition, they will participate in two field trips and will travel to Macau, Beijing, Shanghai and Wuzhen, and obtain a certification in valuing hotels and portfolios of hotels, provided by HVS, the world’s largest hotel valuation company.
Meanwhile, students continue to work on their academic Capstone project, conducted in partnership with existing companies to solve distinct problems, conduct studies or support business needs.
